Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Crandall Ministries, a California nonprofit corporation exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code ("we," "our," or "us"), collects, uses, and discloses information in connection with the Ways of the Kingdom course website at waysofthekingdomcourse.com (the "Site") and the video course and related materials we offer (together, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Our Site is built and hosted on Podia, a third-party platform. Podia processes certain technical and account data on our behalf as our service provider, and is also subject to its own privacy policy, available at podia.com/privacy. This policy describes our own practices as the provider of the Ways of the Kingdom course.

What information do we collect?

Information you provide directly:

  • First and last name

  • Email address

  • Any information you submit during course sign-up or coupon redemption

Information collected automatically when you use the Site:

  • IP address

  • Device and browser information

  • Page views and course progress/viewing activity

  • Cookies and similar technologies used by our hosting platform (Podia) to operate the Site and remember your login/course access

Payment information: The Ways of the Kingdom course is available for a one-time fee of $20. We do not directly collect or store your payment card information. Payments are processed on our behalf by Podia's third-party payment processor, Stripe. Stripe's handling of your payment information is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy and terms, available at stripe.com/privacy. We only receive confirmation that a payment was made, along with basic transaction details (amount, date, and time), not your full card information.

If a coupon code is used to reduce or waive the price, that discount is applied automatically through Podia's checkout system.

Refund policy

Refunds for the Ways of the Kingdom course are available upon request. To request a refund, contact us at the email address below. We will process eligible refund requests through Podia and Stripe within a reasonable time of receiving your request.

How do we use your information?

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide you access to the Ways of the Kingdom course and video content

  • Communicate with you about your course access or updates to the material

  • Maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site

  • Understand how the course is being used, so we can improve it

  • Comply with legal obligations, where applicable

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your information for third-party advertising or interest-based ad targeting.

How is your information shared?

We share information only as needed to operate the Site and course:

  • Podia — our website and course hosting platform, which processes account, login, and viewing data on our behalf

  • Stripe — our payment processor, which handles and stores your payment card information; we do not have access to your full card details

  • Service providers who help us with email delivery, analytics, or technical support, where applicable

  • Legal compliance — if required to comply with a valid legal request, protect our rights, or address fraud or security issues

We do not share your information with advertisers or unrelated third parties.

Cookies

Our Site, through the Podia platform, uses cookies to keep you logged in, remember your course progress, and understand basic site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect your ability to access course content normally.

How long do we keep your information?

We retain your information for as long as you have access to the course, or as needed to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. Transaction records (such as proof of purchase) may be retained longer than other account information to meet tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution requirements. If you'd like your personal information removed where we are not required to retain it, you can contact us using the details below.

Children's privacy

This Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Legal basis for processing (EU/UK/EEA users)

If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, Liechtenstein, Norway, or Iceland, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Contractual necessity — to provide you access to the course you purchased or enrolled in (name, email, payment confirmation)

  • Legitimate interests — to maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site, understand basic usage, and communicate with you about your course access

  • Consent — where we ask for your consent directly, such as for optional communications

  • Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with the law

For purposes of the GDPR, Crandall Ministries is the data controller of the personal data described in this Privacy Policy. Podia and Stripe act as our data processors for hosting, course delivery, and payment processing, respectively.

International data transfers

The Services are operated from the United States, and our service providers (Podia and Stripe) host and process data on servers located in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, including in the EU, UK, or EEA, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have data protection laws different from those in your country. Where required, such transfers are made pursuant to appropriate safeguards, such as those provided by our service providers' own data processing agreements and standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you

  • Rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data

  • Erasure — request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal retention obligations (see "How long do we keep your information?" above)

  • Restriction — request that we limit how we use your data

  • Portability — request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format

  • Objection — object to our processing of your data for certain purposes

  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw that consent at any time

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below. If you are located in the EU, UK, or EEA and believe we have not adequately addressed your concern, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
